Mediation & Addiction Services

Room for a conversation. Support for the next step.

Some conversations are difficult to begin. This is a place to ask for support with recovery, relationships, or a conflict that needs another way forward.

Why I do this work

When we're caught up in conflict, it can be easy to lose sight of the bigger picture. We get stuck on details that keep the argument going and miss the things that could bring understanding, peace, and clearer communication.

I do this work to help people step back, recognize what matters to them, and find a way to talk about it. I bring curiosity, an unconventional way of thinking, and a background shaped by psychology, addiction recovery, and navigating both of my own divorces without lawyers.

We can't control how someone else thinks, feels, or acts. What we can work on is how we respond. That's where I believe meaningful change begins.

Individual & family counseling

One-on-one and family counseling, with room to talk about what is happening and what you would like to change.

Addiction recovery

One-on-one addiction recovery support. Begin with where you are and the support you are looking for.

Mediation & alternative dispute resolution

Support with workplace conflicts and interpersonal disputes that do not require court involvement. A space to hear different perspectives and discuss possible ways forward.

Background & experience

I am a mediator in the midst of completing accreditation through UC Davis, but my learning never stops. I also co-developed the “Here to Help” empathy model used by Apple Inc. customer service.
